Air Jordan 3 “Katrina”
White/ Cement-Grey/ Fire-Red
Back in 2006 during the catastrophic phenomenal event of Katrina, a hurricane wiped through the gulf coast amassing millions of dollars of loss and damages. The entire area was painfully hit, and many relief efforts took place soon afterwards to re-establish normalcy to the individual’s hit the hardest. Jordan brand auctioned off the Air Jordan III “Katrina” sample, and all of the proceeds went to disaster support groups and families.
This year, rumor has it that this pair is set to make a retail release. This model looks like a combination of the “Fire Red” and “White Cement” models with the traditional Bulls colors and the classic elephant print. These are also rumored to have “Nike Air” on the heels. Check out the images from the 2006 model below, and stay tuned for any official updates.
