The very first Air Jordan to ever hit retailers comes back this weekend! The entire sneaker world is excited, and this retro will be accompanied by this years current model in the AJXXXI. Both pairs will be dappered down in the exclusive “Royal” colorway, as information regarding the now “Flight Guy” collection has been revealed.
Chuck Kuhn may be the most influential person in the Jordan sneaker regime as he was the photographer who caught the iconic image of MJ in the “Flight” pose. That picture went on to be used as the “Jordan” logo. The image has a special connection with this weekend’s release as the Air Jordan 1 “Royal” was the pair of shoes that MJ wore to his first Nike photoshoot, and like previously mentioned, it was the first sneaker to hit the shelves, ahead of the traditional black and red outfit.
Check out both pairs of kicks in the images below, and be sure to let us know which pair you plan on buying, if not both.
