Nike Court Air Zoom UltraFly

White/ Volt , Black/ Black

March 9th, 2016

Nike introduces a brand new shoe created specifically for the tennis courts. The initial design brief for the Nike Court Air Zoom Ultrafly, Hui explains, was “to build a ‘rocket ship’” for tennis, or something that could take the sport to a completely new area. “As a designer,” he adds, “you think visually. Putting the two together — a tennis shoe and a track spike — was the ignition point for what the rocket ship was to become.”

The build of this sneaker takes from multiple avenues, such as football, soccer, and even track and field. All of those sports inspired this explosive silhouette. Some of the features of this sneaker include track and field-tested Pebax® propulsion plate, hexagonal Nike Zoom Air units and a Flyknit ankle cuff. They are set to debut in two different colorways on March 9th at your local Nike retailer. Check out the images below and let us know what you think of the Nike Court Air Zoom UltraFly.
