Saucony Grid SD “Ether”
Rose-Gold/ Rose-Gold/ White
February 11, 2017
Saucony has a new model that takes inspiration from the brands hometown of Boston, Massachusetts. The Grid SD comes in a new “Ether” colorway. The term Ether comes from the gold dome of the operating amphitheatre in the Bulfinch Building in the General Hospital. It once served as the hospital’s operating room from its opening in 1821 until 1867. It was the site of the first public demonstration of the use of inhaled ether as a surgical aesthetic on October 16, 1846, otherwise known as Ether Day.
The sneakers will come in a flashy rose gold overlay with matching laces, and an off-white midsole. These are expected to be available February 11th at select Saucony stockists. One of the locations that will have them in stock will be Hanon. Be sure to check them out for great releases.
